Catch Him and Keep Him is clearly one of our favourites.

Around us all seems to be a plenitude of men, but finding the 'right one' seems to be the challenge. How can you spot the right guy - in fact are there any 'right ones' left out there? ...and then how do you know if he's right for you (and not already taken by someone else)?

When I (Louise) look back, most of the guys in my past were mono in nature, unexciting, and often had little real interest or caring towards me. Does that sound familiar to you?

A friend of mine put me on to renowned relationship expert Christian Carter, and specifically to his book Catch Him & Keep Him. My girlfriend, whom I watched go from one disastrous relationship to another, all of a sudden was finding real solace in a strong relationship with her 'Mr Right' and she put it all down to this book Catch Him & Keep Him.

From the start of reading the book I was taken back by the sheer value it provided in down-to-earth, honest, straight-talking advice on really what made men tick, and what makes them really fall for a women - not just date women, but fall in love with me ...and not just any guy, but the right ones falling for me - ones really interested in who I was, both from an emotional and intellectual standpoint.

Christian Carter's book helped me identify the man that was right for me - the man who was genuinely interested in me - what excited me, what made me sad, my aspirations, my motivation, my moods - and when they were interested in all this, they then really fell for me big time.

This book taught me to be proactive in the type of men I attract towards me - rather then simply what for the 'right man' to (hopefully) come along, the book helped me to change things about myself, and adopt certain actions that made the potentially right men attracted to me, leaving me to then determine if I wanted a long-term serious relationship with these right suitors.

The summary of all this was I ended up in relationships with guys that were right for me, and who were serious about me, and all I had to decide was I serious about them. Seems like common sense I know, but when you are in that position, in control of your own happiness, it's a wonderful feeling.

I'm now married to a wonderful man (Steve) and have no doubt that Christian's insights will help anyone who wants to better understand and attract men.

Our Verdict:

Be prepared - Catch Him and Keep Him tells it as it is; it's upfront, direct and honest, and doesn't pussyfoot around trying to be politically correct. Our view is this is one of the key attractions of this guide - it tells it as it really is, rather than in a sugar-coated world as many other similar guides have a tendency to do. But don't you want honesty? We suspect 'yes', and after all honesty is also the foundation of all good strong relationships.

One of the key attributes of the book is how it teaches you how to go about carefully identifying and starting a relationship with the right men who offer real potential, without the need to chase them or devalue yourself - how much more in control would you feel knowing he really wants you.

Using sex to attract men has often been the quick fix way for many women to get men to be attracted to them, but the guide dispels that as a long-term relationship route, and shows you how to handle 'early days' sex issues the right way.
