Friends are always willing to give you tips on how to approach a

girl, especially if she doesn't know you from 'Adam'. A far
better way to make your approach is through a mutual

When you see the girl of your dreams, look to see who she is
with. If you are friends with someone at the table go over and
talk to them first and then work on an introduction. Even if the
'someone' is a friend of a friend, or someone that you only met
once, use them to establish an opening at the table. A
creditable introduction will get you a lot farther than the best
one liner.
If the one liner is the biggest cause of a premature collapse in
a relationship attempt, the second biggest is not knowing what
to say next. Girls are looking for someone with some depth to
them. You may have the most beautiful eyes in the world but if
after you say hello all you can offer her is a chance to look
into them you would have been better off staying at home and

to have some things in mind to talk about and be ready to listen
as well. You are not there to lecture but to share thoughts and
ideas. After all, you want to get to know her too.
And if you strike out, acknowledge it cheerfully and move on.
You do not need to burn bridges. Remember she just might be the
